What is WHoleharted anyway??
Wholehearted is what was missing. Until my kids + I could connect, I was only half-heartedly into it. Seeing transformation in my own life-both at home + in our nonprofit in Rwanda, made me passionate about getting these tools to other moms like me as well as anyone caring for kids who have experienced hard stuff.
TBRI is trust based relational interventions an attachment rich, trauma informed model of care used to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI focuses on 3 Principles: Connecting, Empowering + Repairing

But WHY TBRI?
Children who have experienced adversity, neglect, abuse, loss or any type of trauma may be impacted in complex ways. Growth + development look different when a child does not have a framework for trust + safety.
WHO Needs TBRI?
Any caregiver!
- Foster, adoptive + step-parents
- Teachers + educators
- Healthcare workers
- Social workers
But my kid doesn't have trauma....
Trauma is a bit like pain, we all process it differently based on our experiences, support systems, personalities...
Foster care is traumatic, but so is living with a chronic illness or hopping between two households like children of divorced parents often do.
